We are full for the Summer of 2025.
Please note the Pool’s hours for Summer 2026 are as follows: Monday through Thursday 4 to 6:30 (Closed on 2 Thursdays TBD); and Friday through Sunday noon to 6. The membership fee is $275 per adult and $495 for households (including applicant, spouse, and dependent children).
Swim Club Rules: Access is for members and their guests only (Albemarle County rules do not allow us to have “day” users). Members are not allowed to bring guests without the knowledge of Blue Ridge Swim Club. Member’s guests must sign in, including a waiver, to be allowed to use the grounds and pool, and guests in the company of members, can visit once per summer at a cost of $30. Guest fees will not be refunded to those who later become members, assuming memberships remain after the season begins. Guests residing outside the region of Charlottesville, Albemarle County, and counties adjacent to Albemarle County may have unlimited visiting privileges, but are subject to daily fees. Parents assume full responsibility for children. Children may not be on the property without a wavier signed by their parent or legal guardian, and no child may be in the pool without their parent or guardian present on the pool’s deck or in the pool with them, and not when preoccupied in lap swimming. Guns and weapons are strictly forbidden on the property. Smoking and other tobacco use in any form is prohibited on the property. Food and/or drinks may not be consumed in the pool or on its edge, and glass is prohibited at the pool. All patrons are expected to follow the directions of the pool’s young lifeguards who are charged with protecting our safety, and failure to follow their directions can result in revocation of a membership. When the guards clear the Pool or ask patrons to leave due to weather concerns, you are obliged to follow those directions. Please be respectful. We close the Pool (and sometimes close the property) during and sometimes in anticipation of inclement weather. We err on the side of the safety of the staff when making these decisions, and we appreciate your cooperation. Our ability to communicate or anticipate these closures can be limited, and as we prioritize the safety of guards, your patience in our making these decisions is expected. The Pool may also be closed when the daily high temperature is below 80 degrees, when staff is unavailable, or when the Pool’s natural water is too low.
Pool Season: The season will run approximately 9 weeks and 10 weekends in 2026, from June 6 – August 9th, generally mirroring the local public school schedule, when lifeguards are available. We will be closed on two Thursdays (dates TBD).
Liability Waiver: I agree and assume for myself and my child all of the risks involved and hereby agree not to sue, to hold harmless and release Blue Ridge Swim Club, its owners, agents and employees, from any and all claims which may arise as a result of the use of the pool and grounds. I further agree to indemnify and defend Blue Ridge Swim Club, its owners, agents and employees from any claim, in any way related to my use of the pool and grounds or a guest whom I allow in violation of the rules set forth below. I have read and agree to abide by all the rules listed below including the rules relating to my guests at the club.
